Our Vision & Mission
Kollel Nahiru Dakik, headed by Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Kohen, grew from a single aspiration: to increase Torah in the world and make deep learning accessible to anyone who wishes to draw close.
Every day a new shiur is delivered by the kollel's rabbis, and alongside it a growing library of lectures and writings is being built — open to all, in the beit midrash and from anywhere in the world online.
We see spreading Torah as a calling and a responsibility. Our aim is to strengthen the kollel's learners who toil in their studies, and to open the doors of the beit midrash to every Jew — near or far — seeking a taste of Torah.
Foundation Stones of the Kollel
- 1
Spreading Torah
Deep daily Torah study, and a public shiur delivered every day, so that words of Torah reach every home and every heart.
- 2
Open to all
The shiurim and writings are open and available to everyone, without condition — in the beit midrash and online, in several languages.
- 3
Toiling in Torah
Supporting the avreichim and learners who labour in their studies, so they can keep going deeper without worry.
- 4
Honour for Torah and its students
Treating every learner and every questioner with respect, out of a love of Torah and a love of Israel.
- 5
Tradition and precision
Transmitting Torah faithfully to its sources and with care, in the way Torah has been passed down through the generations.
- 6
Partnership
The public is a partner in this work of Torah — in learning, in spreading it, and in supporting it — and everyone can take part.
